We are in the art Production stage of Where do we all belong? Liberties Edition. The results of our research week will inform an art exhibition which will take place at the Bank on James St during the Liberties Festival.
Update May 2026:
Commissioned by the Liberties Festival,Where do we all belong? is a socially-engaged visual art project addressing loneliness in the Liberties.
On Wednesday May 13th & Thursday May 14th, Where do we all belong? will be researching attitudes and insights into loneliness in The Liberties. Feedback will be sought directly and/or via a questionnaire which will be distributed locally and available to respond, anonymously, online until the end of May.
This project by artist Ronan Dillon, was first realised in Sligo in autumn 2025, culminating in an exhibition in the Abhainn Gallery in Enniscrone, Co Sligo.
Where do we all belong? is part of the Liberties Festival 2026 which is part of the Liberties Community Project, July 20–26 and a recipient of a Dublin City Council Arts Office Neighbourhood Grant scheme award.
